Fees & Policies Please read through the information below. These are "bullet points" of my expectations. I encourage you to also think about what you expect of me. If you're interested in proceeding after reading the information below, first email me to set up a phone consult. On the phone we can detail our respective expectations and requests. If things seem to be a fit, I'm happy to visit your clinic at no charge. *In most instances I work as an independent contractor for your clinic.   * I have 15 years' worth of general practice and emergency/critical care experience. After becoming familiar with your practice, I'm negotiable about doing surgeries. Generally I'm comfortable performing a variety of surgeries, including spays and neuters, lumpectomies, gastrotomies, cystotomies, and enteric resections/anastomoses. I am not comfortable removing anal glands, performing PU surgery, placing orthopedic internal fixation, doing ear ablations, or performing amputations of the long bones. * I have dental experience and am capable of doing extractions in dogs and cats, including the 4th upper premolar and canine teeth-- provided your clinic has a dental machine with an electric burr and varying bit sizes. * My fee is $60 an hour. * Before I begin, you will be provided with a copy of my business license, proof of liability insurance, DEA licensure, and Washington State Veterinary licensure. *  There is a 45-day cancellation policy. Scheduled days cancelled within 45 days will be charged the full relief services fee for 8 hours/day.
